A nice sunset from our home:

This view was taken in October of 2003 from our home in Anchorage, Alaska of the sunset reflected in ocean inlet and the Chugach Mountain range in the background. Mt. Spur is to the right, an active volcano. Our home being at 1350 feet above sea level affords a great view of the ocean inlet to Mt. McKinley 120 miles away.

A nice catch - a  halibut caught in Unalaska, Alaska by Paul:

Yes, it is big - not a touched up photo weighing in at 225 pounds. No it was not a world record, but it was entered in the derby and didn't even win for the day. In Alaska the fish grow BIG. Paul caught this one while visiting a great friend in Unalaska, Alaska in 200 foot of water and fought the fish for 45 minutes.
